About PRV V6 cams diagram

Postby xranalli » Sun Sep 07, 2025 8:48 pm

Hello to everyone, I return on the forum after some time
I'm reading reapair manual of A310 and I noted that camshafts work differently on the right and on the left:
lift is 8,3 on the left and 8,17 on the right
suction phase starts at 9° and closes at 45° on the left (it means duration=234°)
discharche phase phase starts at 7° and closes at 43° on the right (it means duration=230°)
I'm surprised and that appears so strange.
Do you know if it real and why is it?

That sounds like a question for Martin Faulks!
