GTA - floppy clutch pedal

Postby pgoldsmith » Fri Jul 08, 2022 11:11 am

Noticed my clutch pedal appears to have quite a bit of play. I.e. when its resting you can move it forward and back quite a bit.

Clutch operates fine, just a bit concerned something may have worked loose - though the hinge seems fine.

Is it normal to have such amount of play??

Yes ...... if the return spring inside the clutch master cylinder has broken.

Ah, thanks John.
Do you know if the spring be replaced without swapping out the master cyclinder?
