Renault GTA Wheel change

Postby Peterg1952 » Fri Nov 24, 2023 7:16 pm

Hi,
I am considering changing my 15" 6J and 8.5J wheels for 16" Borbet A or Azev A alloys 7.5J front and 9J rear.
Has anyone had experience of or fitted either of these and what is the best tyre size and make? Tried a couple of local tyre fitting companies and they admit they are guessing. Help would be much appreciated

Cheers

Hi there,

Iv'e had Azev Type A's on a previous GTA.
If your going for the 16" diameter then you could have the same sized tyres as originally fitted to the A610 which are 205/45/16 front and 245/45/16 rears. These fit with no fitment problems at all.

If you went for the 9" or 10" x 17" rears then you can fit a 255/40/17 tyre.

Hope this helps, Barry.
