Thanks for the link Martin but I’d only want to buy fresh tyres. I look at the date stand on all tyres these days as it makes a big difference in my experience as Custard has highlighted. I’ve taken. The wheels for refurb now and the fella is also going to see if he can find anything that fits the bill.

I'd be interested to know if the wheel refurbisher finds anything. Alternatives to the Michelin XDX can be found for the front but the size of the rears is the problem as you no doubt found.
I'm interested in the wheel refurb also as they're the same wheels as mine. What are you having done by means of a refurb, re-machine? just polish? powdercoat? other?
1970 A110V85 and 1980 A310V6.
