Clio 197 Cup Albi Blue 63k 'CAT D' Bargain now £2695 ONO

This car was CAT D for light panel damage in 2012. All professionally repaired with new panels and resprayed. 3 owners from new, has had 1 belt change. Car is in good overall condition. Mechanically spot on drives just as it should. No clutch or gearbox issues which are common. Front wheels have some light kerbing and there are a couple of missing letters on the badges, other than that its all good. Looks great in Albi blue . I bought it last year with a view to doing some sprints and hill climbs this season but need the funds to complete my V8 GTA project. Very competitive in under 2.0 class of standard production. Cheapest genuine Cup is over 4k on Autotrader so is a bargain at this price. Has full years MOT and hasn't even done a 1000 miles since it had a full service.

That is cheap. It seems to be very quiet in the second hand market at the moment.

Hollidays have started always goes quite, you will know if things are changing if the silverstone auction at the end of the month has a down turn with a lot of cars did not meet reserve. But have herd that new car sales are down if that means anything. But we are in the 80s it's a mystery toya

Horribly, there are a couple on auto trader, Full Renault service history, not-Cat-D immacutale lady owners, cheaper but more miles. Sorry Tony my mate is only willing to offer 2k for yours, so I advised him to look at the auto trader cars instead as he does not like the Cat-D status cos it will impact his insurance and resale value in the future.

Never heard of an insurance company charging more for a Cat C or D, resale value will always be cheaper than a non CAT, but then again you are buying it cheaper in the first place..............
