Windscreen and seal GTA might need!

Postby Shutit » Tue Sep 26, 2017 9:51 am

Hi all
Getting my GTA painted and taking out the screen to do it. If it breaks, where is the best place to source? I see Simon has a bronze tint screen listed. Are the uk spec cars same tint or clear? Also might need the windscreen trim/seal, Simon again shows this as available, but anyone else have one?
Cheers
Eddie

Thanks Stephen
Once I know they are available, can have a go at taking the old one out. Hopefully won't need a new one, but if do, will work out a way of getting it then.
Any luck with costs for the other parts I was looking for? :)
Cheers

You will need to replace the seal even if the windscreen survives (which it probabaly will).
Renault can atill supply them, I bought mine from endon (google them) who run a decent mail order service.
I bought my screen direct from pilkington classic...call them for details, but their lead time was 'onger than they claimed. Mine has a blue top tint now, not standard but looks good with the car colour.
Clee at Rats had some screens in stock too at one point,

Cheers
