Flywheel wanted

Postby simontaylor » Mon Jul 16, 2018 10:47 pm

Mine is riddled with cracks.
Looking for a good one.
As I am running Adaptronic with crank pulley trigger wheel, I don't need to worry about the Renault timing teeth.
Please PM me.
Or anyone know where is reliable to get a custom one manufactured?

Hi Simon...didn’t I sell you one a few years back when I got rid of all my alpine stuff? (But maybe I got that wrong...my memory isn't what it was).
I have another one now (atmo again) which could be surplus too...let me get it out and have a look for cracks.
Cheers

There getting a bit thin on the ground now, so the rebuild is under way that sort of damage could have been caused by a lot of spirited driving. :D

I've got a few lying about....Or you could get it re-faced if it's not too bad.
You have to get them to maintain the step for pre-load.

Yes, but it has been refaced before and these are some serious and deep looking cracks in it, but it is 32 years old.

I have a couple of Atmo but don't want to step on 'tother Lee's sale if he can find one.

He needs the funds to send to me anyway so win win for RATS ;-)

Thanks Guys, at the weekend, I shall be checking a pile of bits in the garage , in case Lee did sell a flywheel to me in the distant past. I know there is one on the pile, just not sure what car it is off.

Still looking for a good Flywheel.
Trigger pattern is not needed, is the Atmo flywheel the same but without the timing teeth?

I might have one thinking about it but it would be of a 2.7 Volvo complete engine I bought along time ago which I need to sell all the bits off from it as I am not going to rebuild it, as I will be doing the 3lt engines instead. I can’t remember if it had a flywheel on it when I got it.

Sorry mate it must have been an automatic as it just has the flat plate on the crank.

Got plenty in stock. Both the same fitment but atmo without the timing teeth so weight saving if you don’t need it
