Curborough CAR Trackday invite 28th September

Postby stephendell » Wed Sep 14, 2005 11:38 am

We have been invited to the CAR trackday at Curborough on Wednesday 28th September. 12.00pm

Cost £10 for CAR members

Cost £15 for RAOC or non CAR members (includes £5 daily membership fee)

If your Alpine is out of action then alternative vehicles are welcome.

Please be aware this is a very small sprint circuit so don't expect to get out of second but it is good for beginners and very good value.

Cor, that is a very friendly gesture of them to invite us along.
Unfortunately not for me this time as I think I will still be tyre-less, on the rear.

It's possible to just about use third down the start/finish straight in a GTA.

Take a look at this clip from my little video site for an idea of what it's like if you've not yet seen it:

Sadly I can't make it. Can't get the time off work. :(

Not for me I'm afraid, :(
I'm going to Croix instead as it's more suited to my car and I might get to use 4 of my 6 gears there! and there will be a good chance to see a lot of Alpines there, seeing as it's the 50th year of Alpine.... 8)
