2022 Events

Postby miles thomas » Fri Feb 04, 2022 10:57 am

Stephen with things looking a bit more normal this year are you planning any shows or events for club members to attend?
Is there any news about Macon? Would the club be interested in another drive out like last year's one.
Just trying to plan some car stuff this year as it's been to long and I want to make the most of my cars and start enjoying them again.
If you have any ideas that would be great as I want to get something in the diary.
Any one with input post and let's see if we can meet up. :up

Thanks Stephen that's a start.
What month would be good for a drive out, maybe June/July. Any thoughts from the members.

Hi Miles, those would be good months, but later is fine too, I was gutted to miss the last one, but plenty of notice would be nice as I have some recommissioning to do...
Thanks

There were lots of classics at the British Motor Show @ Farnborough Airport last year. Including some Citroen DS models.
And one of the ONLY manufacturers there was ALPINE.
This year it is August 18th to 21st

We’re keen too of course, just need time to move working rota around if necessary - last years’ UK Macon was fab :)

Seems I’ve bought Nicci and I tickets for Sat 23rd April Scramble, not Sun 24th (I’m working unfortunately), so despite saying I was GOING on Facebook, that’s not entirely correct in RAOC terms. Will anyone else only be there on Saturday by chance?

Will be at Bicester Saturday but no Alp as I have a house full of Ukrainians.

Heading to Dieppe in Alp though for the 1000 cars event... hopefully others will be there.

I'll be at the Jean Redele event too, Ace, as will a number of members of Club Alpine Renault.
Should be a fun event!
Cheers, CliveJ.
