Drive out 3.0

OK this year's drive will be the 3rd June
Starting in mid Sussex with coffee from 10 then hopefully an interesting route across Sussex to a pub lunch just south of Midhurst. Then a shorter route in the afternoon to a Napoleonic Fort over looking Portsmouth. This is a free to enter museum just £3 to park.
You can do the whole day or met up at any of the stops along the way. We had great weather last year and I think everyone enjoyed the day, so Stephen has persuaded me to do another.
I can't guarantee the weather but getting together and driving across Sussex should be a good day.
Hope some of you can come and if you can put your name down below that will help with some final planning.

If you are having lunch with us then please book your own table for 12:45 and say you are part of the Miles Thomas booking. They can then put us together in the pub or if there are to many then we will be in the marquee.
The coffee start point will be posted tomorrow just a final check to do.

The start point for this year's DRIVE OUT 3.O will be the Elephant cafe which is part of Trading Boundaries, details below.

I had to check with them as I remembered that sometimes they close for weddings, but we are OK.
So meet at 10:00 when they open and a quick coffee and we need to be on our way about 11:00.

The final stop of the day will be the Royal Armory museum Portsmouth,see below.

If you are coming along could you post on here so we have some idea of numbers. There is also the choice of just meeting up at any of the three points on the way, if you can't spend the whole day.

Thoroughly enjoyed the event last year and looks like the weather will be good again.
However it is rather a long way to the start so I will join at the lunch stop and do the second part to Portsmouth.
I will book a place for lunch at the royal Oak and look forward to seeing you there.

I will come along and join at the lunch spot. I have just got the GTA back on the road after engine out and carb upgrade a few weeks ago so will be a good run out. I'll add in my lunch booking as well.

Start point

11.00 AM drive out route

Welcome coffee and chat

1.00 ish Lunch Stop Royal Oak Pub, Midhurst

Be sure to phone an book and say you are part of Miles Thomas’ party.

2.00 PM drive out route

3.00-3.30 ish arrive Fort Nelson carp for the the Royal Armouries museum.

We have already booked for 20 People. You just need to pay £3 to park.

Anyone coming from further afield and wanting to stay over I have two spare rooms Saturday and Sunday night at the Travelodge Plus in Portsmouth Town centre for £30 night. I will cancel these at midnight tonight if I don’t hear from anyone.
