Kames

Postby peterg » Tue Sep 28, 2004 9:27 pm

Final event of the year on Sunday, at Kames motorsport complex (near Muirkirk) in Ayrshire Scotland if anyone can make it. Should be in a good position to challenge for a trophy and its a round of the Alpine owners speed championship, so I may have company!

Got a very nice trophy!!! (much better than the last one). 1st in class by over 2 seconds. The car went like a dream and it didnt even rain until after my last run....bacon rolls were only a pound....couldnt have been any better! Only 7 in class, Rover 200(double run), Fiat Coupe turbo, Ford Escort mk2, Toyota MR2 and a Lotus Sunbeam. Nice day out roll on next year.

Oh oh! I will see what I can do....but I hate pics of me, which always causes problems as the girlfriend has a camera with her 24hrs a day! Should be some good action shots to come, potential father in law was there with his extremely fancy camera taking shots like it was going out of fashion, and he is a good photographer........like father like daughter (except she doesnt take such good shots....lucky she doesnt read this really :D )

It sounds is if you took your girlfriend away on a weekend that promised rain (well it always rains in Scotland anyway) and just to be a spectator while you indulge yourself in Motorsport actvities. :)

PeterG, you are a very lucky bloke and there will be many a man out there wanting to know if she has any sisters available?

No sisters I'm afraid......yes she is very patient!!!!! Its a good sociable event as well as all the cars, but the novelty may wear off (we've only been going out for 8 months).
