It looks like a "Goodwood festival" take off, with a lot more variety too.
Please report back as to what it was like, and if you can get some entry forms for us sprinters for next year that would be great too.
Unfortunately I am Hillclinbing in Cornwall that weekend.
Bound to be a good day out !

I was thinking of going to this as it's only down the road.

Let us know if you show your car, maybe we could put a few cars on there if they allowed us to?

I think there will be about 5 Venturis on show including this one, recently imported from Japan. Bought to sell on unfortunately and with it being LHD will probably go back home to France

Dorians 400 Trophy may even make an appearance :D

Just to add, car and driver get in free and passenger gets a reduced price ticket of £30 for Sat and Sun

looks like a good weekend but it won't top the Le Mans Classic event....that's been the best so far this year for me

i've done my quota of UK events this year so it's not for me, plus i've got a trackday at fay de bretagne on the 14th ( Venturi Test circuit).

i hope you all have a good weekend and we look forward to seeing the pics

Had the SP from the organiser, if we can get 5 cars together we can have a club stand, which includes free entry for the driver and a reduced rate for passengers.

I know it's short notice and the weekend before the Wales trip but anyone interested in going on a stand?

If not maybe we should get a stand for next year?

If you can get 5 together I'll be happy to send you a club banner that will hang from a 3x3 gazebo or can be pegged to the ground.

Great to see people trying to organise meets in different regions.

I'll definately be at the Wales meet by the way.

A fantastic event, with just a couple of teething problems which i'm sure will be fixed by next year, but nothing major.
Rained all day Saturday  which was a bit of a let down and only one minor mishap with a porsche, which was removed, never to be seen again pretty sharpish
The RS200 recorded fastest time of the day....went like a rocket  beating the Maclaren F1

The A110 was parked in the public car park

Simon, didn't manage to get you any entry forms for next year, but i think you can register on the web site

Steve and I were at the Motor Show at Excell as I won tickets and they sent an extra free ticket by   mistake

We were looking at the classic super cars and looked at the RS200 and thought it didn't look that awsum in the flesh now and not very aerodynamic.......and it beats a McClaren F1

si21 sounded like a good day. I will definately be at the classic in two years time

Keith, great pics, that looks like it was a great event.
Just looked at the entrants list, seems like it could be an invitational one, but I'd hope to be quicker than a couple of the 70's cars..... Daf?
