They measure it at 2/3 of your rev limit.....thinking about it its all just a bit of a scam, because unlike trackdays the officials are all unpaid motorsport fans and trust you to tell them the levels and never seem to query anything. So 2 years ago I revved my Metro to 4000..........the limiter cut in at 8750  I would imagine as trackdays are a money making scheme they may take it a bit more seriously.

So any developments on track day events? By the way is Croix a 24hr event or do you stay the night. How much did it cost last year?

Ramo, it was my first ever track day. Bloody Fantastic if can say so.
basically 6 or 8 sessions of 20 minutes, grouped in cars of similair speed. They let you out 1 at a time so you are spread out and not much overtaking, just pretty hard driving and no one had a serious off. We went out on a 6:30 am Eurotunnel and came back same day aroud 7pm (only £39 for a day Ticket). The event itself was about 120 EUR,(20% less if you pay in advance, but you need a EURO account) and it's only 60 miles from Calais.
