Paul.... I would check the email address to see if is genuine, reply to the email with some form of question before divulging info, also wait to see if any another member gets the same email.......... usually no respectful organisation should ask you for bank details in that way..... they know your name, so why write "Dear Friends".

got notification from my bank today that renault had refunded the hotel fees,

so that is the last of the payments refunded now.

just got to wait until we find out about booking for it again.

just an idea as we have more time could the club organise a (discount ) price for the complete package including travel hotel and addmission or will we still have to register our cars in ourselves ?

Renault UK are handling the out of pocket expenses in liasion with the Club directly (hotel, shuttle, ferry, bank charges) EXCEPT the actual admission ticket cost which you should have already received.

If you have not received the basic admission ticket refund then it will be genuine.

I received the ticket refund but nothing else. Should I send you a copy of my hotel invoice and bank charges directly to you? I originally received an email from Renault concerning the out of pocket expenses and I replied to that, but I am happy to send you the pdf's etc if you are doing the liason between the RAOC and Renault.

I have checked my bank account and no deposit has been made, so I sent a return email asking why the needed my details as they have been submitted previously. I await their reply.

I have now sent the IBAN details twice, each time about three weeks later I get a request to send them again. The latest one says my banks IBAN details are too short but don't quote the numbers back to me.
Not given up but it is getting a bit repetive. I now need to phone my bank if Renault think the numbers on my statement are wrong.

I won't go through all this again.
