St Marys Motorshow, Bishops Stortford 16th Sept

St Marys Motor show, Bishops Stortford, Sunday 16th Sept.
Was a good event last year and a nice end of term event in great surroundings yet within walking distance of the town centre if you want to get away from the cars for a spot of lunch in one of the many fine dining places nearbye. (no macdonalds!)

Looking to show a few cars at this event again this year as the organisers have requested due to a great stand last year. Sorry for the short notice but it wasn't part of my plan this year until now and I have cleaned up the Clio and will have the race spider there as well.

Do I need to bring any banners or signs?

plenty of space left for this show, it starts at 11 so you dont need to arrive as an exhibitor until about 10.30 although the gates open at 8am.
The usual person who organises this show has stood down at short notice so I dont really know what to expect this year.
It is free to exhibitors and you can turn o up on the day in aclub car without booking so anyone can come at short notice, just get there before 10.30.

weather is looking good, we are in much the same spot as last year. On entry, drive to the upper field, the first part is a bit bumpy and gravelly but it soon gives way to a smooth metal temporary road. Once up onto the top field you cannot miss us as we are right in front of you.
Have plenty of space should any spur of the moment entries decide to turn up, just get there before 11 am. Cakes, bicuits and soft drinks supplied.

A big thank you to everyone who came today! Thanks for making the effort and hope you all enjoyed your day. Good to catch up with some members who I dont seem to have seen much of this year.
2 Le mans, 2 GTA's and an A610 along wth my 2 cars made a great stand.

Thanks Mark for arranging a good day out, and providing 1/3 or the exhibits...and the tent, food, deck chairs etc...you even laid on the sun later in the day
