Thanks...
I am hoping that the weather holds, as last weekend would have been perfect... Looks like snow this weekend :( Still going to show up no matter what tho... This will be the first event I have had the car at...
Tickets already arrived, so looking forward to it.

Well tuned the car, cleaned the car, taxed the car, test drove the car last night and just went to book my tickets...

Advance sales closed at midday today rather than midnight so looks like I won't be going unless anyone has a spare ticket!!

I phoned up and begged but they weren't interested...

It's actually £10 per head difference. They were £15 in advance or £25 on the gate.

More the principle than anything as we do a fair bit with/for Live Promotions and I phoned up and asked as well, but they were unhelpful so I've sent an email moaning a bit ;-).

The website said a 12.00pm deadline so I'd unfortunately read that as midnight rather than midday which is the usual for interent offers so didn't try booking until I got home as I was sure it was still OK.

Also we got the code very late so didn't leave much time to get a car ready.

Si21 is out too for the same reason so two cars down, but I don't think we will be missed!

Thanks. I have recovery. It was still quicker to nurse the car home stopping for many litres of water and every time the temp got 75% of the way up the gauge.

Its just annoying!

I wouldn't worry too much as it's the other guys gig, just relax and enjoy the show.

If I manage to get hold of a pair of tickets at the reduced rate I'll still be there.

Does not look like I will be going either unless something reasonable in cost ticket-wise pops up; but even then I am not sure I'll take my car. I have an agenda which is biased towards competing this year which is running on a tight budget. The extra cost suddenly does not make it such good value and has made me stop and reconsider the overall cost when taking into account the fuel burnt by an Atmo in cold weather Ill probably do £90 of fuel in this weather plus a £25 ticket ....£115 to be frozen and cover my car in grit and salt ...not to mention the possible freezing road conditions, the odds just don't really seem to be stacking up for me I was in two minds due to the weather anyway; hence i did not purchase tickets straight away.

I would like to go but TBH I'll rather save my money and do a couple of sessions of track time at Lydden Hill check the car out for the forthcoming season and have some times that I can compare improvements made to the car going forward

Well review the situation if tickets appear but I am not holding my breath

I think the weather may have a notable effect on attendance.
