Is this not supposed to be a French event? why then is my team competing against BMW's and Ford Sierra Cosworths? and the others here are up against Porsche and Morgans? Somehow the spirit of the event is slipping away.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

that's why I don't bother going anymore..... BOC have gone down the slippery slope and they're probably well short of entries on the sunday and over subscribed on saturday..... so you're racing against les BMWs
et Les Porsches et les Cozzies monsieur pas oublier les Morgans aussi :Mass whats the class? "post 79 anything with black tyres" :crazy

Thanks to Miles and Steve, for a great event as ever.
Saturday was a little wet but today was great.

Strangely it was the girls who were setting the top times.
Especially the one in the Nash 55 she was flying haha
But the fastest was a single seater lady in a 600cc something.

Alpines were great to see flying up the hill and occasionally off a blue Clio ! oops.
But I will let others fill you in on those details.

Also thanks to Simons dad Cyril, Vince,Chris Graham & Steve for helping me find my boost leak.
Melted plastic t piece. Has no one else heard of thread lock!!!
Top tip it helps stop bolts/nuts falling out.
I have had my fuel filter bracket nuts fall out, looms on both bulk heads are now dangling thanks to p clip bolts falling out. Also if anyone is using nylon lock nuts the thread needs to protrude past the blue section (for aviation 1.5 threads minimum)
The culprit again here was a p-clip coming loose allowing said plastic t-piece to come to rest against hot manifolds.
Loctite buy some, use it. I will put the numbers up when I have a second. Although 241 rings a bell.

.
screw lock, stud lock etc... different specs, depends where you are using it, temp range, and whether you want to separate the parts relatively easily later... essential stuff in my book. But now I prefer the dry Loctite dry stick to the messy liquid, much faster application... don't use the imitations either...
