Forest Row Classic Car Club at the River View Cafe 10 August

My friend runs this meet. Usually around 100 cars. He does a mean breakfast too.

Officially starts at 12pm but best get there before to grab a spot.

Some great roads nearby for a country blast afterwards and some amazing pubs too....

In Horley. So just up the road from Gatwick and about 25mins away from Forest Row.

Worth missing out East Grinstead on a Sunday as it can be a bit of a car park. If coming via M23 head off at junction 10a. Lovely drive in then along some cracking roads.

Met up with Jon despite the rain. Couple of quick pics below:

Also bumped into Lee's (Mettersl) brother John in his little MX5 which was a nice (and unexpected surprise). All in all well down on numbers by all accounts but then the weather and roads were pretty bad.

Great to hear what's brother in law john is up to whilst my sister is in NYC. Don't knock the mx5, we had a good time at the Le Mans classic in that this year, but a lot slower than an a610....(and uses more fuel too amazingly). Glad you enjoyed it....
