Postby miles thomas » Sun Aug 09, 2015 4:31 pm

Seemed rude not to. The sun was out and the girls are in Cuba.So off i went in the Spider and got there at about 11:00 and was asked to park up in what is considered the prime spot, right out the front of the cafe :up With the parking done i went round and took some photos for you the members to see. Nice mix see what you think.

Looks great day out Miles - shame I couldn't make it :(

Tried to tempt the kids with a day out to see some cars but all they wanted to do was go to the beach and eat Ice Cream :crazy

Nice pictures Miles,
My brother in law John was there in his MX5, he posted some pictures on Facebook and I saw that there was a spyder attending but I wasn't sure whose it was, now I know.
looks like you didn't reciprocate with a picture of the MX-5, they are quite common compared to the cars in the pictures you put up.
A mate at school has a yellow escort Mexico which I coveted at the time....odd I don't now, except the value, mk1 escorts are worth a lot aren't they.
Cheers
Lee

Funnily enough the taxi driver on the way back from the airport last night was telling me about his collection of classics over the years. He had a Bagheera and his comment was "don't unless the chassis has already been fixed and galvanized" He was pretty adamant on the galvanizing part!
I'm just here for the gasoline.
