I've never seen fibreglass burn before..... and Simon wants to take his GTA to Paris  maybe if he sees the news he'll reconsider and go by Eurostar :!: :P

Mr Jon said burning fibreglass does not look good. Was more thinking about taking the daily driver (steel) rather than GTA, as I have an unused open Eurotunnel ticket to use. Could also have 3 seats available. Will decide nearer the time, work dependant.

Maybe mr Jon should bring his GTA then the Parisiens will put an end to all his suffering, he can then buy the dodgy 310 on ebay for £250 and start again

I've had a few queries regarding the dress code:

Dress code on the invitation is Tenue de ville. Literally 'town suit' (Thanks Robert!)

Basically smart/formal dress but not OTT. So no tuxedo required!

I'll probably wear a suit.

Usually us Brits are over dressed at this sort of thing.

Do a google search for Tenue de ville and you'll get the idea. Definately no jeans/trainers etc.

No idea when it ends. Can't imagine it will be too late with such an early start.

Renault are not honouring the full list of prizes as stated at the start of the season for us Brits. Well for RAOC anyway. (Don't Ask  )

We have our theories. Too many subscriptions. Difficult to arrange racetrack outings & loan cars etc in the UK. I'm sure this will be a point of discussion at the weekend. Especially for Andy...

You will all however receive one of the 'Gold Prize' nosecones and hopefully a slap up dinner!
