Tickets are also good for Saturday :-)

Checked with the organisers and although there is no club display on Saturday you are still eligible for gravel parking.

There are still some places left if anyone else wants to go and to clarify the tickets are WEEKEND tickets with a club display on Sunday but still infield gravel parking on Saturday.

Hi John,
Thanks for organising this event. Myself and Lucas really enjoyed it. A bit stressful without the ticket this morning, and I noticed that my reply above did say "Pass arrived today" whereas others said pass & tickets, but I'd assumed they had ordered extra tickets for their passengers - anyway, it all worked out in the end, and your effort was appreciated.
Neither me or "Bill Patchell?" could find you to say thanks and goodbye.
Here's a couple of pictures of the RAOC car line-up today.
Cheers.
Ian

I went on Saturday. As stated previously the tickets and passes turned out to be weekend ones and the club area was in the same place. If we get invited back maybe we could make a bit more of an event of it next time and put up some flags or banners.

Tony Hart was racing in the Historic Touring Car Challenge in his 5GT turbo race car. Not the same as his hillclimb car despite looking very similar. He came 8th on Saturday in an event dominated by capris. Anyone know how he got on Sunday?

The sound from the Historic Formula 1 racing was amazing. Definitely no noise limits this weekend!

Thanks to John for arranging and here's some of my pictures:

Hi John, Brilliant Fabby day, and just to add an extra comment on top of all the previous ones, my 5 month old grandchild became very active in Mari's tummy during the F1 race, so hopefully another "petrol head" added to the family in September? So I'll need an extra ticket for next year's event hahaha :-)

Great event. Good to see ours and other marques on display; couldnt figure out if any of the GT40s were geniune or all replicas. ;)

Thank you John. Unfortunately I didnt say goodbye to either you or Barry as the heavens opened when we were walking back. Got soaked to the skin, so decided to leave there and then. Beeped the horn thou :)

By the way, did the last race go ahead?

And yes Barry I will be sorting out the driver's side window sooner rather than later!!

Cheers
