Er the GTAs made mincemeat of the A610s. 4 fastest cars and by a margin :0).

GTA drivers are leaner meaner from lack of power steering...it's about the only exercise I get.

and from sweating away (less likely to have AC)

Let's see the stats !
Were the cars weighed with drivers in ??

Standard A610 beats Standard GTA every day of the week. Just check all the magazine figures back in the day, what can't speak can't lie.

Modified is different kettle of fish. How did the uprated red 610 get on? Thought that was 320 bhp?

It is changed , glad to see the bar being raised. Be back with 2 cars for the next one hopefully. Remember I have the same engine in my black car as Dave Miles - with Faulksie super spool turbo so should be right back up there. I was low boost when I set those times originally so plenty more to come out of that car. I won't talk about the V8 until its done I know you get antsy ;0)

+ it's very comfy ;)

I'll stick with the used 100k 2.5 engine....Renix....T3 ..and MoFo/Ratty magic :pray

It's great to see where we all are now from the last time .Lots of people attacking things in various ways and all pushing the cars ever faster .

Sure looks like it was a great day out.

Good point Simon, and thinking about it there is a few more GTAs to get together in the mix that would be fun, yours, Cedric, Will, JV, Darren, Tony in a turbo &/or monster atmo etc ard the ones I can think of... certainly another session there, and could be all GTAs :-)
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!

No need for a test, I've had 20 + GTA's and 2 A610's and trust me the 610 is quicker. When I had both it took 15 mins in the A610 to get to the Golf Club and 17 mins in the GTA, :Butt

Martin seems a bit tetchy about his slow A610 :0) . Standard car undoubtedly comfortably faster but you will never be able to modify one to beat a GTA that's been modified because of the weight difference . Whatever a 610 can be modified to, just drop the same engine in a GTA shell and its 10% faster :0).

Tony...that's the truth, you can't beat physics. Less weight, same power, same layout, same drag, same map and Ecu will always be quicker.
Tim Jeffreys has gone some way to closing the gap by removing weight from his 610, but you can't remove the metal in the nose for crash resistance on the 610.
When are the results going to be published? Is it a magazine embargo or something...having the results would help the rest of us understand it all better than this dance of the fans.....
Did I get the hint that Daves twin turbo beat the single turbos?
That car should have a unique advantage of quicker spool than a single monster turbo. Would be nice to see if that theoretical advantage came through.
Looking forward to hearing more....
