SUPER SCRAMBLE - Bicester Heritage Sunday 23rd June

Postby stephendell » Sun May 19, 2019 9:00 pm

The BIG one! In place of Flywheel this year. Think of the usual scramble but bigger with more stalls and auto jumble too.

ADVANCE TICKETS ONLY - NO GATE TICKETS

Thank you for registering the Renault Alpine Owners Club for the Super Scramble on the 23rd of June, your club discount code is RAOC619J.

Please advertise the event on your club website and encourage your club members to use the code to ensure their booking is included in your club numbers. Please encourage pre-1990 vehicle bookings as we would like to aim for as close to 50% of those attending being pre-1990s. Clubs achieving the highest percentage of pre-1990 vehicles will be allocated premium parking closer to the centre of the event.

Post 1990 cars still welcome on the club stand including New A110, Clio V6, Spider etc

http://bicesterheritage.co.uk/whaton/superscramble/

Click on the ‘Buy tickets’ button which takes you to the booking page

http://bicesterheritage.co.uk/?ticket=s ... le-tickets

Click on the ‘Enter Promo Code’ link in blue text towards the top of the ‘Tickets’ block on the booking page and input your club discount code RAOC619J The club ticket option will then become visible at the top of the list of ticket options. Please note, if any other ticket type is purchased instead of the Club Vehicle ticket, there will not be a space allocated in the club parking display area.

For the Super Scramble tickets will be sold online in advance only, there will be no tickets available on the gate. Please can you remind your members of this and the club ticket closing date of no later than midnight Sunday 16th June (if not already sold out).

Clubs attending with 10 vehicles or more may be allocated their own club parking display area. If this number is not achieved, and we are unable to provide a display parking area we will advise affected clubs after the ticket cut-off date of Sunday 16th June 2019 to give time for them to pass this on to their club members.

Clubs are welcome to use flags and gazebos to promote themselves within their club display area but will need to make sure that they have their own insurance to cover any damage caused should any of these items fall or blow over. If you wish to do this, we will require a copy of your insurance and a risk assessment.

We appreciate your club supporting this event and hope that your club members have an enjoyable day here.

Not sure, they did put us in a really rubbish spot last year after making a big effort for years for them. There is still a chance someone else will run the stand there. There’s also a bit more too it than that so call or text me for an update.

Sadly can't do that one....prefer it to Bromley...mainly as the drive there is fun, rather than tedious.

Never done this event so may go as I need parts for the rally car dials and a load of other stuff, and the Alpine needs a run out.

A very nice day out and good to meet up with members old and new.
The air field was very impressive with all the old buildings surrounded by very high quality cars. Only the club car area was a bit disappointing. Lots of BMWs, Jags and Porkers not much else. No Mercedes club or even Ford, MG had the best looking picnics and there were some interesting cars in a general area. Not sure if this was because it's a new event but they have lots of room for more.
After lunch most of us went over to Stephen's unit for probably the last time. Big thank you for your hospitality Stephen and the chocolate biscuits :super
What is the next event everyone is thinking of going to?
