Progress report is that all the front is now stripped .Tank out ,anti roll bar off .
About to start a clean up and refurb of all the front subframe .
See where it would benefit from strengthening and then build up .
I have a pair of ECup anti-rolls to go back in .I'll get some pics in the morning ................

Structural guy at work has had a look at the chassis drawing, and has indicated where a couple of struts need to go in, nothing difficult and one I put in to the F50 after it got smacked, so got summit right  One might be a little more difficult tho, but on JIL ok I think, will show you. He also mentioned biggest problem is behind the front turrets into the structure, and so think the cage frame tubes need to go thru and connect up to the turrets.

You 'might' want to check the blue book.
There are lots of regulations about cage construction and attachment to the car etc .....
You can read it on-line.....

I'm getting the cage done by a ' proper ' outfit that do only this .They do rally cages primarily so I'll leave all that up to them .
I don't need to know the technicalities just that it conforms

Driveshafts need chopping and new circlip groove positioning .Std driveshafts are diff lengths by about 15mm so careful measuring and triple checking when on the deck under load ...Not a job I want to do on my own so will wait until MrF is up here .....

Once all checked ,take apart and send bare ali bits for anodising and I can paint all the wishbones after we have set the camber and welded up a few bits for strength .
