Trust in Allah but tie up your camel :D

Seems all to fit .Need to re route the water from the back of the pump .Block off one outlet and take the remaining one to 'tother side for the matrix for all those soft lads that might want a heater

Serendipity strikes with an ali plug ready made for the job :D Leftover froma change of plan on JIL .
So waterworks plugged and chopped short, need to get a 90 degree silicon to take the water over to the rhs to mate up with the matrix pipework .

Unforseen issues also meant that the balance gear caps have to come off so i've swapped them out for std GTA and also means std covers all round now .

Nope ,knew about that issue from previous goings on ,going to chop and shut as MoFo says  :P

The 3l rocker cover ,longer ,with the timing cover deeper to suit so with the dizzy/cam drive now up that end I have to use GTA ones or I can't mount it innit .
Meant removing the tall balance caps and slapping on some std ....

You could take a 3 litre timing cover and bore out the left hand cam 'ole and put the dizzy there a la A610, or you can modify the end of either camshaft to accept the dizzy drive a la Safrane or... er on the left. When it comes to the water pump, we gave up trying to make the original 3 litre one work, too many holes in ours (more than yours it would seem0 and the pump was in a shocking state for a "new" engine. We just put a 25 pump on there.... you may remember selling me a Y-pipe  DeLorean heater matrix return goes to where you've capped off the pump back plate, and the feed can come from the front of the car as normal for a GTA (DeLorean takes it from the flywheel end of the cylinder heads which are blanked on the 3 litres).

Meh ....too complicated and the cams are in and all timed up ...It's all done now and the easiest solution was to just bin the tall caps and fit std GTA covers .
Deeper timing cover would have meant longer drive coupling for the dizzy etc .
All I've got to do if sort the water feed this way .Anyonw got a spare GTA/25 thermostat housing ? Not look properly but I think that would work quite well if the hole line up which it looks like they may ...

It's only longer immediately where the balance shaft drive is, which is why the 610 one is the other side. Still no reason not to put the dizzy where the Saf has it... 20/20 hindsight eh...

Yes thought about running off the other cam but would mean machining the timing cover and that would just eat up time and money

Pop a std GTA turbo one on there and see where it points, it's short and stubby.. May be an easier fit, but either way, nothing a hacksaw and some electric glue can't fix :)
