It had a clutch not long ago.

Nice to see the old girl getting the attention it has needed for so long - Rob's such a glutton for punishment

Yes ,nice copper slip on the main subframe bolts .
It's all very grubby and nasty and minging though ....but I'm used to it now

I don't like the look of the remote oil feed lines .Will have to see .If it were me I'd bin the water cooled oil plate wotsit and either lose the lot or go oil cooler ala JIL setup .

Will do . I sourced one for Ray's 610 when that was here .Never fitted it though so unsure if it worked well .

All broken down to smaller lumps .
A few more issues have arisen .Hopefully solvable and hopefully parts available ...
Time for a get together and plan of action .Some things are a no brainer ,others tarty but worth thinking about and others

My air filter was similar to this. Just bought a K & N in the correct fitment if you have not sourced one already:

Get together got together and we have a plan of action .
At some point in it's life the rear end has been ' bumped ' Subframe is twisted and badly repaired .RHS knock and the wheel is sitting about 10mm out
Will see if 610 frames are available but we will probably have to see how a GTA one suits ,I have 4 of those lying around ....There are a few extra little bits I can weld on but need to plonk the running gear on a GTA frame then drop car back over to make sure we are just talking frame damage

A small amount out at the subframe, we are talking a few mm and it can have a massive effect on the wishbone geometery; as I know only too well.

Oh dear  Didn't I read somewhere that this was crash damaged by Mr Gentleman or his brother in the past?

We all had a "finger" comparison of our 610's recently with regard to the space between the body and rear tyre and they were all different so maybe don't read too much into that. From memory Mr Dell's was similar to Rottbott's :?:

I'm surprised I couldn't feel anything off when driving it, but then I've never driven another for comparison.

Clearly this really needed doing. :)

Might not have noticed it as the wheel could be running true ,ie corrected on the "wee wee" ...however there is zero movement on the lower wishbone at the hub carrier and the bolts absolutely refuse to budge , seized solid .
