Winter Plans

Postby Tony Smith » Sun Oct 09, 2011 9:22 am

Really got the bit between my teeth now with my 3.0 litre turbo, Engine has been out to do crankshaft oil seal, engine bay repainted, all the arches cleaned and re stone chipped, new under bonnet trim, some carbon fibre bits inside. Moved my boost controller to the centre console. Stereo being sorted in the next week or 2 before going up to Andy for a repaint. If funds allow I'm going to get some new rims and a big brake kit to go under them.

Hoping to have my silver GTA Atmo done over the winter too. This was a cheap one care of Mr Dell, a scrap down the side but drove nicely (except for the carbs. :x ) Have tracked down a 3.0 litre injection lump for it which will go in shortly. Will probably buy some manifolds for it getting it to breath a bit easier. Then body repaired and painted. Interior is pretty good. Have Mr Dinis old 16" AZEVs off his red GTA to go on it. Plan was to make a daily driver GTA really, good economy for those foreign trips
