Car has now been on the rollers,
And finally turned a wheel.
I will let John post up the results and hopefully a video.
Now having the air con sorted, prior to paint. Then Croix with a bit of luck.

Glad to see you're back in one piece and the Alp is nearly fit for purpose..... soon you will be burning rubber and enjoying yourself in it. Sounds as if John has done a good job on it.

I think that was at 14psi but not 100%

Hopefully John will post up the print, shortly.
Good to be making some progress, hopefully John will have complete prior to Croix.

Question my speedo has jump about 10 to 15 thousand miles or more, while on its vacation will need to check last years mot.
Has anyone experienced this before? Also how can I rectify this? Or will it be a case of removing clocks and fiddling wih digits?

Me and John are puzzled?

John or Dave, The next time you switch on the ign, watch very closely the speedo needle...... does it move, ie:- lift up a little.
It also has been noted on this forum that occasionally the speedo needle flies around to full scale and stays there, that in itself is not too bad, but as a consequence the motor that makes the needle fly up, also drives the odometer, now if this happens say, when you are working on the car with the ign on for a long time, if you viewed the odometer, it would be racking up the milage...... it has been suggested that this can happen with a low battery start,... laboured start,,,, that the drive transistor to the motor or its pre drive circuit, does not like the voltage surges to it and if not noticed, all the time the ign is on, up goes the milage.
Some of you, with low batteries may have noticed how the needle jumps up and down on the compression strokes, it is possible that sometimes when it has an up jerk, it goes up and stays up...... it could have something to do with that situation.

Well figures to beat are 5.1 0-60 and 13.2 1/4 mile with 108 mph terminal speed mile at Bruntingthorpe. 1/4 mile times at brunty are usually at least 1/2 second slower than at Santa Pod etc because of something called roll out (can't remember what it is though :oops: ) Car was running 0.95 bar of boost (and about 290 bhp) that day but has been remapped to 1.2 bar now and is definitely quicker than that. be interesting to compare single turbo v twin turbo torque curves as from what John was telling me, for the same boost yours makes a bit more power but mine makes a bit more torque - should be a good contest :0).
