Well Project DD is nearing completion and has been in regular use over the summer. Snagging list was very long, but they have being getting picked off slowly but surely. Have fitted some R888s on the front and some Ferodo DS pads to make it a bit more fade resistant and track day friendly.

Final Spec as follows

Espace 2.9i engine
3 branch exhaust manifolds
Custom exhaust and induction systems
New ancillaries
Turbo fuel system
New radiator
New discs and ferodo DS pads
GAZ Coilovers all round
AZEV 'M's 7x17 & 8.5x17
Repainted Ford Moondust silver

Looks really good Tony, and nice work Andy... simple, subtle and very effective - I like the clean lines, no badges etc. Like the detail round the rear lights. Did you polish the lenses to bring them up sharp?

Think it must be a trick of the light - lens are standard untouched :0). Car is great fun - if not that quick in a straight line. Instant throttle response and back tyres of dubious quality make it much more eager to step out of line :0)

Finally getting round to sorting out the last few bits on project DD . Have had the inlet manifold and fuel rails vapour blasted , rocker covers and plenum shotblasted and powder coated. Fuel injectors cleaned and flowed, new induction kit ready to go on, new alternator and belts, plugs and oil. Just a couple of electrical issues to sort after that and it will be finished. May go back to standard wheels too if I can sell my AZEVs.

Been chipping away with an hour here and there of fitting the new shiny bits, painting brackets, looming wiring, polishing bolts etc. Rerouted the induction to the other side so I can cool the alternator and starter motor better. Made up an induction kit from an old GTA Turbo air box pipe and a Viper induction kit I had spare. I think its come out pretty well, and should feed efficiently. Its not until you look at before and after pics that you can see how much improvement there is!

Original install with rockers and inlet manifold removed

Still busy but looks much better you'll agree.
