Nick's car is now back from the welders ,turrets and jacking point all done + small bit of rot on a front turret , anow in the warm 8) JIL has been evicted so I can now work on two paying jobs in the dry :roll:
Next job is to replace water pipes .Front suspension is all finished and fitted apart from ABS sensors where I need to make a new holder for one side .

Pretty clean under the tank as well .Servo looks in very good order .Pipes to come out in the morning then I'll clean it up a bit before popping new ones in and hope they fit :wink:

Umm...... I think if I got this far, I might be inclined to see if the two nuts holding the master cylinder to the servo would come off relatively easy as they look in good condition...... if so, I think I would spin them off and pop a bit of grease on the threads, as from reading some comments re. these nuts sheering off, when wanting to change the master cylinder, it might be worth doing as the servos appear to be in short supply, or even unavailable. :wink:

Other than my above ramblings....... cracking job Lee...... the owner should be well pleased with this Alp when it is finished.

It's not those two that are normally the issue John .It's the 4 that bolt the servo body to the front cross member that snap off or just turn ..... :evil:

I would like to keep them for ref and poss drop then into JIL race project as I nicked hers for another car .In fact those pipes now reside in the last owners current car ......
But if you insist I will sweep up all the rust and shite from restoration and you can pop it on Ebay .BigM will be able to give you a good idea of what it is worth :lol:

Yep- been back a week- with the weather and the amount of shite work ive been dumped into I kind of wish I had got lost!

Anyway a good time was had!
