Tell me if it's getting boring but another one is in for guess wot ? yep rot .

Trevor's is the first official new RATS premises visitor .Fear not others, the plan was to get it stripped and into weld asap whilst I carry on at home with nice clean assembly type shite and bolting bits back in .
Turrets and arch pocket needed attention as per it seems these days + full running gear refurb + water pipes + headlamp glasses + an engine mount or two .......ohh and steering clonk yet to be investigated .

All welding now done and back in my unit across the yard .Bits off for blasting and I'll crack on with other stuff until they come back and the shockers from Pauly arrive
Mark and I have done enough of these now to be pretty accurate about costs involved so if yours are looking a bit dodgy then give me a PM or better call and I'll be able to give a firm quote for the usual suspects

ps ...Trevor ! did you fill it up just before dropping it off as it filled 3 jerry cans when I drained the tank

Good work Lee, looking forward to getting it back all refreshed. Nice thing about this car is that everything on it worked with the exception of the oil level gauge. Filled it up before I left but it was showing 39mpg on the way up would only have used about 3 gallons. Sorry didn't know you needed to drain it, another thing on your list to tell customers before they drop a car off.

I guess you must be quite serious about this car Trevor, usually your type of ownership is around the errrr......................... three month period

Lee you must be a master in getting these lumps out..... and the rust looks nothing major, we have seen a lot worst from your prevoius projects posts.

Dini,

It's the colour i wanted and lowish miles. Costing a bit more than I had hoped but not going to cut corners on it. In for a penny..........

Is that a standard compressor, or has the compressor cover been bored out with a larger compressor wheel in there, looks like it, or my sense of proportion is wrong?
