Jungle drums are a rumbling on this one over in France but unless they cut through the turret and show me da money I aint buying the tales of USA cars and crash test dummies ......Mmm,Mmm,Mmm,Mmm....Mmm,Mmm,Mmm,Mmm....

Lol car has never been outside if France and was bought at the end of the series. Frantic French cover up for the well known person that thought /told everyone he bought this chassis.

In any event USA cars had a completely different shell and this pre-dates those.

I have it on good authority that only one chassis had that number stamped on it. It is entirely likely the car may have been re shelled or stripped in period but this is the original that competed in the first two series. As lee says they need to get the tin opener out to prove otherwise.

Mr Sasin says they can buy the car if they want to save further embarrassment ;-)

Good to see all the LHD stuff intact.

Starting to get stuff together .A lot of the basics I've already done on the RATS' Racer ....
I have two sets of 5 stub hubs so can convert two cars worth ...two sets of A610 turbine wheels and starting on the gear linkage .All these things are available for others if they wanted them .A610 turbines on a GTA anyone ?

Lee how much space do the turbines have to the callipers at the front? Enough room for some serious upgrade?

Europa Cup #36 :GTA Vince boy! .....I need a new one in livery please
More of the RHD conversion removed .Handbrake mount cut out exposing the final mount plate for rollcage .Most of the removing now done ,next to start fabricating new structures for repairs .
I have removed all lines ...brake ,water ,clutch and fuel. They are all a bit dodgy apart from the water .All require swapping to LHD positions in any case so no big loss .....

Almost a year later and this has just been dropped off again for me to knock into shape .Once I clear the decks a bit I'll be on to sorting the shell and getting it back to LHD configuration .Got a nice new complete bulkhead that I can cut and shut into the original so with a few datum checks it should all go in sweet ....Steering rack, pedalbox etc all here so will see just how much can go in without any drama :thinking
