Well its been a while since I last posted on here as I had to move house.

The car is now on its wheels with the engine / gearbox back in. I spent today mounting up the silencers so i can get on with making the exhausts.

It is now starting to look more like a car!!

Exciting, will you bring it to an event next year when it's finished?

Hi,

Managed to get a good weekend on the car which saw pretty much all the mechanicals finished, I am just waiting on some black hoses / oil breather tank & dump valves.

I then made a start on the wiring loom for the ECU.

I will definitely bring it to some events and am planning on using it as my daily driver.

Hi. How are you getting on with your project. Was thinking about the MVS today. Can not believe it was 28 years ago when we had it from new. Would love to see it again when you are finished?

Hi,

The rebuild has been progressing but I am also building a house which is taking up a fair amount of my time that and a full time job as well only leaves a few hrs a week in the garage!

I am aiming to have the car finished or at least road worthy by June / July time if I can get the bodywork sorted by then as well it would be great but I think that will be pushing it.

I am planning on taking it to Angouleme in September to watch the race meeting and to meet up with some of French Venturi Club at the event.

Where about in the Country are you? I am in Fleet, Hampshire.

Hi Again,
How is the project going?
The car came up in conversation at the weekend. Did you get it finished?
Would love to see some pics to show my father.

The Car hasn't progressed much in the last few months as I've been building a house.

The house is now finished so I will post some updates in the next few weeks and I would like to get it on the road this year if time allows.

Thanks for the interest.

There must be something to do with Venturi owners at the mo, I too am currently building a house! Almost as stressful as repairing the Venturi!! LOL

Cracking work so far, as Steve says pics of house and car would be good.
