Door mirror switch

Postby paulrob100 » Sat Jun 11, 2016 3:54 pm

The mirror switch on my GTA only works one mirror. I want to take it out & test it. How does the switch come out ? The retaining nut doesn't go over the ball on the end of the switch. Does the ball come off ? I cant see anything obvious :crazy . presumably the switch comes out where the grill is fitted under the door pull

Thanks, Paul

You just pull the ball off and unscrew the bezel.

under the knob there should be a plastic ring that changes the switch from left to right, make sure its located correctly.

So it does :up I didn't want to force anything in case I broke it.

I think this might be the problem. The ring seems to be loose.
