Have not got the fog lights yet supposed to be the same as the Porsche 928 or 944, however not planning on driving it in the fog, but may do what Simon told me to put a flexible duct from there to the back of the disc. What lights have you got.

Rather than back of disk, point the air duct onto the Caliper. it is the caliper that makes the disk hot, so combat the cause.
It is ultimately the fluid you wish to keep cool.
Duct can often be tied to a suspension arm.

Well I’ve had an interesting afternoon as I made up a crude flow bench with my hover paint tin and my old gas manometer, and then tested a standard Gta head then my 3it ported head and a standard 16v head.
All tested with the plug out which then achieved 55mb with valves shut and then 1mm increments, didn’t do the exhausts on the 16v as i think it would be like the inlet.

Inlet

Standard 3lt 16v
1mm 26 24 19
2mm 14 13 9
3mm 9 7 4
4mm 7 5 4
5mm 5 4 4
6mm 4 0 4
8mm 4 0 4
9mm 4 0 4

Exhaust

1mm 26 24
2mm 14 14
3mm 9 7
4mm 7 5
5mm 5 3.8
6mm 3 0
7mm 3 0
8mm 3 0

So on my analysis the normal 2v heads there is not a lot in it with the first 2mm but after that point the big valve and opened up port let’s more in, but the 16v it’s all over after 2mm and the restriction is the port opening, so that’s why 16v engines are better in the higher rev range but are less flexible lower down.

With those known cam and valve greater wear issues on the 24v heads, I think high lift in the 24v heads would be a very short life engine.
Backs up Martin Fs focus on the 2 valve heads, you can do high lift and get much more flow, therefore power....Martin?

It doesn’t need my more lift just porting.

Wouldn’t increase the lift on the cam just the duration if you wanted to do cam work, but you can see why they needed that variable length in let manifold to get the bottom end working.
Yes the inlet aperture is all that needs work and the valves, this head is more suited for turbochargeing, trying to sort out an inlet manifold for a normally aspirated performance engine would be hard and not for a hobby mechanic like me.

Bigger port = less speed. less important on a turbo engine as the air is forced in. "Ya canna change the law of physics" as someone in the future famously said :0)

There still in my spares department had the Lether repared they look ok but not mint but will probably stay with fabric because when I start to pull G on the corners with the fat rubber on I will not move about in the seat plus the Lether may Weigh more. LOL

35kg of fuel, 80 Kg of custard.....that makes it well under 1080, despite the body kit.
New wheels will add a bit (on my smart 15"-17" is 4kg a corner) but still light compared to 1400 for a 610.
Nice....borrow Steves accelerometer and you can work out the torque.

Yep it is pretty light, probably won’t carry the spare and just have the an air pump and the tyre glue stuff, which should compensate for the larger rims.
No real idea how I have lost all that Wt, lighter exhaust system, inlet and holly carb is lighter than the old setup, body parts may be lighter especially at the rear that’s about it would not have thought that would be 60kg but I am not complaining.
