A great site to showcase your Alpine

With two nice blue GTA Turbo’s on pastdrives, it would be great to see a few more club cars showcased. Free to upload.

Thanks Peter ...nice pics...
I'm the current custodian of your old car...I bought it after it had suffered an engine fire..now restored....good news is she's still going strong.

Hi Dave, That's brilliant news!!! I'd heard through Stephen that she'd been saved but didn't know by who. Guessing you purchased from Paul? Would be great for you to 'request connection' on the pastdrives site then you'd claim current ownership and could upload some new pix :-)

Let me know if you're going to any local shows this summer, it would be great to see her again!! Well done and thx for letting me know.

Thanks Peter...
The ownership went Peter, Paul, and Mary (ok, it was Martin but Mary sounds better..). After it had gone up in smoke mid 2011 (I'm sure there's a Puff the Magic dragon connection ?).
Martin (Mary) bought it but had no bandwidth to restore among other projects.
I bought it Jan 2013 to go alongside my atmo (always good to have a spare GTA)

"If I had a hammer" would have set about repairs..but luckily RATS stepped in..and after 6 months it was running.

Ok I'm leavin' the Peter, Paul, and Mary references behind (on a jet plane? )

I may well post on that Past Owners site ...though I'm not really one to "Go tell it from the Mountain" (sorry, can't help myself..sat on train listening to them now !! ). Will post some pics..

It would be good to meet up I've done limited shows etc this year due to travel and house/family stuff.

The whole past owners is a great concept..the past owner of my atmo is "The Wolf of Shenfield"...a money-market trader with an interesting history (got shot in a commuter car park!).

I quite like the Shere hill climb..so may well go there with the kids....must find another local SE/Surrey Sunday classic breakfast thing.
