Clio Cup roll cage question

Postby andy97 » Sun Apr 02, 2017 9:42 am

Not that I can justify it but have seen a 2nd generation Clio Cup car for sale on "the bay"

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Clio- ... SwDmBY3cFA

But didn't they have full welded cages? I seem to remember them being described as "mini touring cars" so something doesn't t seem quite right, unless I'm mistaken.

The Clio 172/182 cars did have a bolt in RoPs, it wasn't until the 197/200 that they went welded.
