Thanks to Mark Garner and Tony Law for coming along to support and watch the action.
Congratulations to Tony Campbell for taking a class win as well as Fastest Harrow Car Club driver.
He probably deserved a third trophy for most interesting car of the day too.

Unfortunately I failed to get to Goodwood last weekend.
My diff failed and the palnet shaft put a hole in the shell of the bellhousing and so all the oil drained out.
It has been a long week trying to get it fixed.
Many thanks to Miles who offered me his GTA to drive at Rushmoor this weekend, but I had to decline on the basis that I needed to concentrate on getting my car sorted, rather than thrash the living daylights out of his peach or a car. Thanks Miles, it was a very kind offer, maybe anoher time.
So, engine and gearbox all out, replacement gearbox examined and all re-fitted, finished this morning. Test drive was good and it all seems to work well too.

Tomorrow we have 3 GTA and as many R8s and A110s competing at Rushmoor. Not an official spectator venue, but you are welcome to come along and watch. Nearest post code is GU11 2ET, but there should be some Rally arrows about to help you too.
You can only turn into Rushmoor Road from the North end off the A323 Fleet road.
Directions Map
Hopefully see some of you there ?

Simon,
Thanks for a great day me and Ted loved it.
I had a great time trying to attain yours and Tims speed and grip.
I think I managed to get the speed but as for control maybe not, I was more of the track than on it.

Top tip its not like skiing don't try a 180 over the finish line, works well on skis not so well in an Alpine.
Simon managed an incredible 53 second lap I topped out at 56 and then decided acrobatics and gymnastics was the way forward.

Until next year, but I may have to invest in some sticky tyres or b invite Hamilton down to take you on.

Hi Dave, well done, you should be pleased with your achievements. How did Tim get on?

Martin,
I'm not sure of Tims time he was plagued with gear change issues, but was below 60s.

GTA results.
Simon Taylor 53.75 8th overall
Dave Miles 56.86 27th overall
Tim Jeffrey 60,36 50th Overall

Daves best excuse was that he was going too fast ........and then spun onto the grass
Tims excuse was gearbox troubles, but he did get 58.40 in practice.

FTD was a 500BHP Lancer Evo 3 at 49.72.
Bob Gibson was 5th overall with 52.73

It was a great day out and because its in the south, here is a link to some pictures
