Hi Guys...

A personal "Thank you" for today, I don't get to take the car out very often these days, and it was great to see so many enjoying themselves. It is you the members that make the club, and attending events like this, make all the pain of restoring these cars, worth every penny we put into them. A fantastic day. Huge thank you to all who attended and made this event possible.

Just for those that want to see the pics.... I have uploaded a new album within the galleries for you to peruse..
If anyone wants a copy of a particular picture, just IM me with the photo number/s and I will email you the full size pic, incase you cannot copy from the site ( members only can do this!! ) None members get the watermark!

Enjoy...

Vince..

P.S. there you go Big Mvs... Pictures!!! and lots of them too!!

I have already messaged Steve, Great day, great turn out.
Where were you Jon Viola, you would have loved it and taken a few scalps I'm sure haha
Martin did you do any more runs?
I just know he had so much more potential there, as well as driving the best looking standard GTA for sure and the sound was amazing.
Tony Law your car always looks stunning!

Agree with all the comments, great day, nice and relaxed, everybody enjoyed themselves, and the weather was kind :-)

Thanks to Stephen for pulling it together for the members, being host for the day, working non-stop... thanks to our two marshalls doing all the work getting owners cars weighed and ready, with patience and good humour, and last but not least Vince for capturing the day for all in some great pictures...

Well done all!

Can I echo everyone's comments, it was a great day, very relaxed and friendly...and such fun.
This was the fastest I've ever been in my A610 since I owned it..must try it again soon!

Thanks also to Stephen for organising the day, it worked out really well!

Cheers Barry.

I hear rumours that GTAs are faster than 610s.

GTA's are lighter, plus more often than not, modded more... not that I was racing.... :angel .
As for results, you will have to wait for Mr Dell to post them up....

Or the relevent member to show of his figures...

Opps!! wrong type!!...

As a hint, the photo of the cars lined up across the runway, was a "Kind of podium" from left to right. " with a stand-in", for one getting it's leaking water pipe fixed..

I hear rumours that GTAs are faster than A610s.

It all depends my A610 and its engine are totally standard apart from a stainless steel exhaust whereas some of the GTA's boasted bigger or even 2 turbos and four pot caliper brakes and lots of other whizzo stuff... :) Go mucho faster and equally important stop in a mucho shorter distance.

This was my first time at something like this so I was naturally very cautious but still managed 150 mph without hitting the barriers at the end of the runway...phew...! :crazy

Cheers, Barry :-)
