Nah, just get a cheap as chips Northern Irish plate. The ones with OUI in look good.

It just looks wrong (to me anyway) on an E plate now....

Thing is there is better things to spend the money on, engine build, interior, brakes etc.
If it bothers you and you have something on retention I do a give it back when you want it.
Got to do a Rats clear out myself got a set of wheels, panels some manifolds I don’t need plus more stuff.

The car is now finished apart from fitting the windscreen outer rubber but have not fitted as I will probably fit a new windscreen as the old one is de laminating and has some stone chips, it has been a challenge but the end result is pretty good and like school you only remember the good bits after a few years, let’s hope it stands up to the Macon thrashing but my god it now grips like hell now. :D

Well the car has exceeded my expectations and all the things I was worried about have not been a problem, the ride comfort and handling are exceptional so the tyre setup 265/40s rear and 205/45s front worked well.
The car survived Macon, and the grip and durability of the engine for that type of driveing was perfect, and then last weekends driving to and from Prescott was also a big :D.
The next improvement is fitting A/C and finishing and upgradeing the interior, then I would say perfection.
The Lamas conversion is not easy but the results over a standard car are impressive with the ability to alter the setup of the suspension to accommodate the wider footprint.
