Undertray bolts

Postby pgoldsmith » Thu Sep 12, 2019 10:09 am

Does anyone know if the undertray securing bolts are still available ?

Are they M10 size ?

My GTA has a drooping tray, so I'm thinking of bolting a metal strap across the underside to hold things up.

The part number is 7703006133, this is definitely M6.
originals are mild steel with a torx head. I have replaced mine with A2 (marine grade , in case it ever sees salt) stainless shouldered hex head bolts, but torx is also available.
The website says M6 100-2 as a look up, I'm going to say that I used 25 or 30mm long for mine.

I fitted a metal strap - just a bit of light weight aluminium and it worked very well.

Missing now as I think it disappeared during the work on the front - but cable ties are always an option ;-)
I'm just here for the gasoline.

Many thanks Lee & Darren,

I'll see if I can source some M6 bolts and a piece of metal to position underneath.

I currently use cable ties, but with it drooping even more now I think I need some extra support.

Cheers,

Paul

I also replaced mine with stainless button head screws. M6 x 25mm. I get my stainless fasteners from Kays Fasteners. They have an eBay shop.

Nothing special as said above large stainless button heads are ideal.
